The Honesty plant is a biennial that produces flowers in its second year. It is a spring favorite for pollinators. These pods are harvested after their vibrant purple flowers have fallen and the pods allowed to dry in the field. They are then hung to air dry and each of the hundreds of pods are carefully hand processed to reveal the glowing membrane hidden underneath. Naturally grown without pesticides or herbicides.
